One maker, small batches.

Spool Studio is run by one person in New York. Every object in the catalog is designed, printed, checked and packed in-house.

The shop grew out of a love for the city's everyday objects, the mesh trash can on the corner, the things New Yorkers walk past ten thousand times. Some of them deserve a spot on your desk, wherever that desk happens to be.

The whole point is quality. There is plenty of cheap printed plastic out there, and people deserve better than that. So everything here gets printed slower, finished cleaner, and checked by hand before it goes in a box. If it would not sit right on my own shelf, it does not ship.
